NETBALL WOMEN JOIN HANDS IN CELEBRATION OF WOMEN’S DAY

Johannesburg, South Africa – Some of our favourite women in netball joined hands today to celebrate Women’s Day at the SPAR National Netball Championships, being held at the University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park. The tournament is host to over 1200 netball players, and is testimony to the love and passion that netball women have for their sport. Teams travel from all over South Africa to take part in this annual tournament that provides a platform for talent seeking and an opportunity for national netball teams to play against the best in the country. Vice-President Netball South Africa Blanche de la Guerre expressed that netball players share something special despite all the trials that they may face to play the sport they love; “When you play netball, you have friends and sisters for a lifetime.”
