Netball South Africa identified 20 candidates in May this year for the position of 2023 Netball World Cup Events Project Manager. After extensive deliberation Netball South Africa and it’s 2023 partners have narrowed down the applicants to 10. Each of the 10 candidates will receive an invitation for a digital interview with the organising committee. Interviews are set to start soon with members from Netball South Africa and the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.

Netball South Africa President Cecilia Molokwane, together with CEO, Blanche de la Guerre, and NSA’s HR Agents have been hard at work ensuring the best talent have been identified.

“This whole journey has been very exciting thus far and it’s not going to be easy to choose someone from our top 10 candidates. We’re looking forward to getting the interview process started and to put a personality to the resume. Anticipation is slowly building for 2023 and that’s a huge positive for us, especially during these extraordinary times. We wish all the candidates the best of luck and we can’t wait to enroll the new manager into our plans for 2023 to help organise Africa’s biggest netball showcase,” said CEO Blanche de la Guerre.

Please Note:
Netball South Africa would like to congratulate and extend its deepest gratitude to all the candidates who’ve come through the selection process thus far. Netball South Africa can only employ one applicant. Resumes of the candidates who’ve not received a digital interview invitation as well as candidates not securing the position, will be kept on file in the event more positions should become available at a later stage.
