POSITION – Ticketing Manager
Job Title: Ticketing Manager – Netball World Cup 2023
Reporting to: Head of Operations
Primary Location: Cape Town
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract from 01 August 2022 to 31 September 2023
Start Date: 01 August 2022
Gross Package: Market related
JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide a main contact point between the Ticketing agency and internal partners to coordinate and manage all aspects of the Ticketing operation including manifest management, ticket fulfilment and development and integration of new technology and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be the main ticketing contact to the ticketing agency and internal partners
- Liaise with relevant venue departments and staff to ensure an efficient and coordinated ticketing strategy for the World Cup
- Liaise with internal partners and the venue’s ticketing partner on the development of processes to ensure a successful guest experience
- Produce regular ticketing and related reports
- Manage the accurate control of all ticket inventory for both venues
- Work cross-functionally with the Accreditation Manager and Head of Marketing and Commercial
- Support the wider team, sharing workload in times of pressure
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years’ experience working at a senior level with ticketing systems, within the sporting and entertainment industry
- Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment, with competing priorities, stakeholders and deadlines
- Strong leadership, and management skills
- Project management
- Excellent and proven face-to-face customer service skills
- Excellent general IT literacy
- Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
