Following the highly successful and biggest Males National Championships to date, Netball South Africa is proud to announce the selection of standout players from the tournament.
The Men’s National Senior squad, Under 23 squad, and the Men’s FAST5 team have been revealed, showcasing the immense talent displayed throughout the competition.
Particularly exciting is the announcement of the Men’s FAST5 Team, which will represent South Africa at the FAST5 Netball World Series in Christchurch, New Zealand, from 9-10 November 2024. The team will once again face off against netball giants Australia and New Zealand. Last year, New Zealand’s Net Blacks secured their second consecutive FAST5 World Series title, overcoming their fierce rivals, Australia.
Notably, Shane Labuschagne of South Africa was crowned the Sky Fans’ Player of the Series in 2023 for his exceptional long-range shooting, a fan-favorite highlight of the tournament.
With the announcement of these talented squads, Netball South Africa is confident in the potential for even greater success on the global stage. We are immensely proud of our players and wish them the best as they continue to raise the bar for men’s netball.
