After receiving an overwhelming amount of applications for the position of 2023 Netball World Cup Events Project Manager, Netball South Africa is proud to announce that it has identified 20 possible candidates. The next step will be to set up interviews with some of the lucky candidates to determine who will be shortlisted to fill this very important role of ensuring the organising of NWC2023 runs as smooth as clockwork. The identified candidates will appear in front of a panel made up of the organising committee consisting of members from Netball South Africa and the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture and the City of Cape Town.

Netball South Africa President Cecilia Molokwane together with CEO, Blanche de la Guerre, and NSA’s HR Agents were put to task to help identify the candidates: “We are very pleased with the response from professionals who’ve applied for this position. It again just shows how passionate South Africans are about sport and to be part of something magical, like a world cup event. On behalf of Netball South Africa and the local organising committee, I would like to thank each and every individual who has taken the time to apply to help organise Africa’s biggest netball spectacle to date. We are looking forward working with our new team member to bring all sports fans the best netball experience in 2023.”
