A squad of 27 players will be assembling in Stellenbosch for trials from 14 March, before the start of the 2021 SPAR Challenge Tri Nations featuring the SPAR Proteas, Uganda and Namibia. The series will also feature the President’s XII and the SPAR Baby Proteas starting 25 March at the CTICC in Cape Town.

 
The following players are not available for the SPAR Challenge: Sigrid Burger, Lenize Potgieter, Lefébre Rademan, Ine-Marí Venter, Shadine van der Merwe, Phumza Maweni and Karla Pretorius (international club commitments). Jeanie Steyn and Zanele Vimbela (recovering from injury). Sikholiwe Mdletshe, Lungile Mthembu, Ané Retief and Jasmine Ziegelmeier (other commitments).
 

The SPAR Proteas and President’s XII will be selected from the 27 player squad.

Matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport Variety 4.
Please note, no spectators will be allowed as the SPAR Challenge will take place in a biological safe environment.
