07 November 2023 – It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Laytie Mpimpi passed away on Monday 06th November 2023 after a brief illness and was in hospital during the time of his passing.
Laytie was the brother to the President, Ms Cecilia Molokwane, who was Team Manager for the Male Netball national team (PUMAS).
He has been under the care of President Molokwane until he left for a routine hospital check-up, where he passed on.
The federation requests for patience and prayers towards the family during this difficult period.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Mpimpi family and the entire netball fraternity. May his soul rest in peace.
